Soil Type : 70% red gravel and 30% granite bedrock

Vinification : partly barrel-matured

Character

Creamy with fresh almonds, English orange marmalade with crushed quinces, cold beech smoke at the onset of minerality, then sea breeze and soil.  Fresh and clear.  Very balanced.

 

Is able to accompany many dishes.  Very good with veal.  Goes well with mushrooms.  Very recommendable with cheese.  Excellent with shellfish, crayfish and lobster.
