 BARBERA D'ASTI DOC

Territorio: The vineyards which extend on the Bricco Quaglia hills up to Bionzo di Costigliole d`Asti.

After the wine harvest:

Thinning of the grapes at the end of July, selection of the best grapes in small wooden boxes at the beginning of September, slight grape pressing. It starts and finishes its fermentation on its skins for 7-8 days. End of fermentation and maturing in steel tank. After 5-6 months in bottle the Barbera d’Asti is ready for sale.

Characteristics: At the visual check it appears marvelously ruby-red. At the taste examination it reminds of fresh fruit. In mouth a full velvet flavour emerges.

How to serve it: Best served between 16-19 °C. The wine glasses should be wide to guarantee the right oxygenation in order to develop a rich bouquet.

Food and wine: Its versatility allows this wine to literally accompany a full-course meal ( appetizers of meat, flavoured firsts, rich seconds and cheeses both young and
matures

 .
