Situated on part of the high plateau of the Médoc, Château Pontey, classified as a Cru Bourgeois, extends on the southern hillsides of the commune of Blaignan. The vineyards are part of the history of the small commune of Blaignan, and are first mentioned in the 14th century. The wine is aged in stainless steel vats.
