Domaine de Beauregard

France, Loire, Muscadet

The Gregoire family has resided in the heart of the Nantes vineyards for five generations. In 1999, Laurent joined the domaine which today is comprised of 18 hectares, 16 of which are planted with Melon de Bourgogne. His vineyards are located at Mouzillon, near Vallet, one of the best situations in Muscadet and their vines are of a very high average age. The geological diversity of terroirs in Mouzillon gives an aromatic richness that is famous. This is a Muscadet with a real concentration of fruit, structure and length, comparing favorably with a fine Chablis—a really exciting find, and wine.
