K6

 

 The "K6" cuvee is based from a parcel on a sandstone ground with some shale;  deeper down, some blue clay and brown preserve the plants from the hydrous stress in summer season.

It is based on 100% Carignan.

The harvest is done by hand, and the bunches are sorted berry by berry after which we have a very light extraction in view of preserving the freshness of the fruit.

The berries will simply "infuse" during 50 days as the malo-lactic fermentation happens under the skins.

2/3 will then stay in concrete vats and 1/3 will be aged in oak barrels of 1 to 2 years.
