Tasting temperature 12° C Ageing It would be ideal to forget this wine for 5 or 6 years in the cellar.
TASTING Eye : Golden colour, of beautiful intensity, with strong glints. Beautifully transparent. Nose : The nose is expressive, clear ; it unveils fine fruity aromas, quince, candied apple, beautiful impression of over-maturing. The airing intensifies the fruity character and reveals fine, slightly smoked notes of liquorice. The nose is frank, racy, of very nice intensity. This wine brings much pleasure. Mouth : The first contact is frank and nervous ; it develops to freshness, characterized by incisive vivacity. Good length on the palate with 6 caudalies, marked by fine wooden notes, fruity, rather complex aromas. The finish shows a firm vivacity . The structure is full and pointed. The vivacity nicely refreshes the raw material. Beautiful gastronomic wine. FOOD/WINE MATCHES Very promising when served as accompaniment of veal with liquorice or with certain matured cow cheeses such as the Saint Félicien.
