Winemakers Notes

Selected parcels of grapes from very old low yielding Shiraz vines grown in the Marananga sub-region of the Barossa Valley were vintaged separately using traditional red wine open fermentation and oak maturation in new and 1st year French and American hogsheads for 24 months

This classis red wine displays plum and spicy strawberry on the bouquet.   Cherry and toasty oak, together with ripe plum and blackcurrant, form a palate that is balanced and long.

Silky and robust, this wine will age beautifully and elegantly.   The wine has been bottled unfiltered.
