Michel Dupont, who inherited his choice old vine parcels in Meursault, married a girl from Pasadena, CA, Leslie Fahn, and together they have developed a domaine considered by Revue du Vin de France, one of the top for Villages Meursault.

The Les Vireuils parcel was planted in 1929. They have another parcel, Les Murgers, which is smaller, but the vines even older and in 1996 have started a Vieilles Vignes cuvee. In both, the yields are very, very low (around 2 tons to the acre) and every year they get exceptional ripeness.

All of these wines are rich, full and opulent, reflecting the time Michel spent apprenticing at both Comte Lafon and Michelot-Buisson.
