The restoration of an old stately home on the hills around macerata and the magnificent exposure of its estate were the ispiration behind the birth of the Sant’Isidoro winery. We are proposing itself onto the national and international wine scene with the same serious reasons that led to the building of the residence from which the cellar inherits its name. The vineyards, that all lie within the Corridonia town concil perimeter, are spread over thirteen hectares whose soil is characterized by argillaceous limestone particularly suited for the production of an extremely high quality and healthy product. The grapes grown here are selected according to the local historical traditions and they are enriched whit the international cultivars that best adapt to the exposure of the vineyards and their soil features. All the picking and wine-making take place in respect of and by selecting the most orthodox wine growing and enological tenets possible, without any room being allowed for hasty thinking.
