SAUVIGNON BLANC ZIEREGG
2005
The vineyard's south-westerly exposure as well as its soil of marine
sedimentary origin call for very special production techniques.
From this warm site, the complexity of our Sauvignon Zieregg can only be
obtained by repeated selective picking of the grapes, as well as by longish
maturation in both large and small oak barrels.
It reveals a vast gamut of aromas on the nose, encompassing all the typical
Sauvignon nuances, from paprika to lychees.
These sensations are then echoed on the palate, where they combine with hints of
cool mint and fine white chocolate.
