BODEGAS D. MATEOS

A longstanding tradition of seven generations dedicated to winemaking guarantees the savoir faire of Bodegas D. Mateos. Its privileged winegrowing location gives the grapes exceptional features that are reflected in the final wine. This united with the Mateos' family dedication throughout the entire wine-making cycle, during which grapes are rigorously selected and then individually processed, produces a unique and personal wine. More than half of the grapes are goblet trained and the rest are trained on a trellis system. The estate is 385 meters above sea level, and the soil is clay loam, with stone and gravel areas for good drainage. Orientation is North-South, to optimize efficiency in the capture of sunlight.
