CHÂTEAU DE HALIÉ

Château de Halié is located 80km southeast of Bordeaux and 20km south of Langon, in AOC Bordeaux and is comprised of 33ha, 12.5ha of which are vines. Family owned for three generations, the domaine is presently in the hands of Bruno and Elsa Dauvin. In addition to their stewardship of de Halié, they are also consulting oenologists to a collection of Bordeaux Châteaux, particularly in St. Emilion. The domaine practices sustainable agriculture and has been certified Agriculture Raisonnée since 2006. Humble terroir of clay-loam with gravel, in combination with exemplary viticulture and winemaking techniques, low yields, barrel-aging for this cuvée and bottling without filtration, makes for a most excellent bottle of "Claret".
